A documentarian at heart, Holland has been formally directing commercial and documentary work since his first broadcast spot in 2013. He is a big-picture thinker who maintains meticulous attention to detail with clear and decisive vision. Holland served as Executive Producer and Director, establishing an internal video department for the WITH/agency in Atlanta from 2018 - 2021, before launching his own production company in 2022, Holl&Company.

Holland’s directorial projects have been featured in Mashable, Adweek, and regional press, and celebrated by clients including AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, Cirque Du Soleil, Her Campus Media, Parisa Wang handbags, and more. Holland has returned to his alma mater the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) often in recent years, including speaking on the Alumni Voices Panel at the 2020 aTVfest with other “notable graduates for an insightful conversation about how their SCAD education helps them navigate the television industry.”

Project Highlights:

This awareness campaign included a :30 and :60 broadcast spot and digital advertising. From conception to production and creative development, The WITH/Agency drove the strategy and creative process behind launching the 2021 State Health Benefit Plan campaign concept in the metro-Atlanta market.

Holland co-wrote the script(s), line produced, oversaw casting, and directed the spot and campaign photography.

This award winning and three-time EMMY® nominated affinity and awareness campaign included five :30 second broadcast spots and extensive out of home, social, and non-traditional advertising. The expansive creative process included concept development, visual treatment, lighting design and control, writing, casting, and production.

Holland directed and produced, co-wrote scripts, designed each set, photographed campaign photography, and edited each spot, crew of 50+.

This awareness campaign included both a :30 second broadcast spot and a 2:00 minute web video, along with print, out of home, and digital advertising. From conception to production and creative development, the WITH/Agency drove the strategy and creative process behind launching the “Thrive Georgia” campaign concept in the metro-Atlanta market.

Holland directed two lead actors along with a background cast of over thirty more, co-wrote web video script, and worked with a crew of ~25. The full campaign received millions of impressions.

Kaiser Permanente, familiar with Holland’s intimate and personal documentary approach, asked the WITH/agency team to capture the story of Rosi Wahl, a 93 year old Holocaust survivor in palliative care undergoing the process of life review with her daughter, Suzanne.

Rosi’s story was one of survival in the most perilous of circumstances, as well as a lifelong love story. While tragic and heartbreaking, Rosi’s strength served to inspire all. A cinematic documentary approach was taken and the piece was celebrated by the Kaiser Permanente and Permanente Medicine teams. The short was nominated for a regional EMMY (2021) for Director.

In 2019 Kaiser Permanente was bestowed the honor of offering a better way to serve those who served and establish a commitment to quality care. In Autumn 2020, WITH was tasked with telling the success stories born within the previous year.

Holland executive produced, concepted, pitched, and directed the spots, as well as all related campaign video material. Through this emotive story, a compelling campaign emerged consisting of television, digital, and radio advertising. This spot reached 3 million impressions and enrollment goals were exceeded.

Holland’s directorial debut and first feature length documentary film.

“At 16, when Capri was denied a driver’s license for simply being transgender, she fought for her rights. Soon, the world around her would follow as the infamous ‘bathroom bills’ and aftermath of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting changed the LGBTQ community forever. ‘Chasing Capri’ captures the coming of age story of teen trans activist Capri Culpepper, and the broader cultural transition unfolding across the south.”

“Working on set with Caleb is a dream. He has a unique ability to make actors feel comfortable and supported by communicating directly, calmly, and personably. Whenever I am requested by Caleb’s team, I drop everything because I know the day will run efficiently and creatively.”
