The Rosi Wahl Story
for Permanente Medicine

Kaiser Permanente, familiar with Holland’s intimate and personal documentary approach, asked the WITH/agency team to capture the story of Rosi Wahl—a 93-year-old Holocaust survivor in palliative care, undergoing the process of life review with her daughter, Suzanne. Rosi’s story was one of survival in the most perilous of circumstances, as well as a lifelong love story. While tragic and heartbreaking, her strength served to inspire all. A cinematic documentary approach was taken and the piece was celebrated by the Kaiser Permanente and Permanente Medicine teams.

The short was nominated for a Regional EMMY® in 2021 for Director.
